John Chory was a partner at Lathan & Watkins LLP and is currently of counsel. Mr. Chory represents technology and life sciences companies from startup through IPO. He is the former Global Chair of the firm's Emerging Companies & Growth Practice, and he frequently lectures on legal issues facing emerging companies. While at Harvard Law School, Mr. Chory taught negotiation as a teaching assistant to Roger Fisher, author of "Getting to Yes." Prior to attending law school, he was a US Army Intelligence officer for over 15 years. Chory earned his bachelor of sciences in computer science and psychology at United States Military Academy at West Point. He earned his MBA at Golden Gate University, and his JD at Harvard Law School.
